The ability to organize and manipulate data from investments in hardware, software, telecommunications and people is essential to the ability to execute an enterprise strategy. ManTech's systems integration professionals bring complex technologies together to provide compatibility and align information systems and enterprise strategies and objectives.

Network performance is crucial for enterprise success. A network must be virtually impregnable, yet flexible enough to accept change with a minimum of effort. ManTech is a proven leader in the development and integration of new and legacy information systems offering stability, security, flexibility, and superior network performance.

Automated Test Equipment

ManTech has been recognized for more than 20 years as a leader in automatic test technology. Based on this in-depth knowledge and experience, ManTech has created the highly successful VXI-based AURORA series ATE product line. These leading edge technology test systems are currently in use throughout the world, delivering dependable, affordable ATE solutions to a wide customer base including the United States Military, Brazilian Air Force, CSIST in Taiwan, Philip Morris Corporation, and Dovatron International Corporation.

ManTech has successfully developed and delivered well over 1,500 test programs for a broad range of units under test and for an equally broad range of testers. Furthermore, ManTech has designed the interface devices necessary to connect the tester to the unit under test, fabricated these devices, programmed their operation, documented their performance and delivered the entire package for immediate use by the client. The total package is called a Test Program Set.

Space Flight

ManTech has broad experience in flight hardware design, assembly, handling and integration. Complete engineering/technical support is available for the development, fabrication, qualification and launch of flight payloads. Recent programs include the Tropical Rainfall Measuring and Hubble Telescope Servicing Missions. ManTech provides thermal and structural analysis, flight structure design, harness design and assembly, ground equipment, transport services, test fixtures, and blankets for thermal control.

ManTech developed the first large scale Capillary Pumped Loop (CAPL) thermal system flown in space. This two-phase loop uses capillary forces and the latent heat of vaporization to transfer heat from an instrument to a radiator sink. Prototypes flown aboard STS-60 and 69 led to development of the upgraded CAPL to be flown on the Earth Observing System satellite.

ManTech will provide answers to your questions and quote (fixed price -or- time and materials) for testing of your hardware at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center.

Data Acquisition

Multiple-aperture arrays, high channel count digital and fiber-optic telemetry systems, and high bandwidth requirements have placed large demands on data acquisition and recording systems. ManTech meets that challenge with our advanced Multi-channel Array Processing System (MAPS), our high channel count VLDS and Sony based recording systems, our high density digital recorder (HDDR) interface, and controller technology. The MAPS is based on Motorola processors, real-time UNIX (RTU) with X Windows and MOTIF, two i860 based array processors, 64-channel A/D, and high-speed direct digital interface. MAPS is compact, portable, and routinely used by ManTech engineers to acquire, process, calibrate, and display the element and beam-level data from high channel count arrays systems aboard ships. More than 20 of our HDDR-based systems have been delivered and installed aboard U.S. Navy submarines to acquire data from AN/BQQ-5 and AN/BSY-1 sonar systems. ManTech has also developed custom interfaces and controllers for the new digital recorders that are capable of recording well over 1,000 channels of acoustic or vibration data.

Testing and Evaluation

ManTech is a leader in automatic test technology and in the development and production of Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) and printed circuit board testers. ManTech has developed a highly successful AUROR ATM series ATE product line. Our ATE systems and testers are developed using VXI bus technology within a modular, open architecture test system environment that significantly increases productivity and reduces down times, resulting in substantial savings in test programming and maintenance costs. ManTech is the developer for the Marine Corps Third Echelon Test System (TETS) under a $140 million production contract.
