Nicole Smith is Executive Director of ManTech’s AI Consulting Practice, where she applies her proven success in helping U.S. government clients harness Artificial Intelligence to enhance their efficiency, effectiveness and mission performance.

As Executive Director of ManTech’s AI Consulting Practice, Ms. Smith guides clients on their AI Journey, applying her expertise in Data Analytics, Generative AI and Machine Learning, and her extensive experience in Project Management, Delivery Excellence, Business Operations, Test, Development and Infrastructure Management.

Prior to joining ManTech, Ms. Smith held leadership positions at IBM for more than 25 years, most recently as worldwide Data & AI (D&AI) Practice Leader for AI Governance & Regulatory Technologies. While at IBM, Ms. Smith earned vital Mission Transformation experience as Program Manager and Delivery Leader on a critical AI/Machine Learning contract with the U.S. Intelligence Community. She established and led the North America Government Delivery Excellence and Business Operation team. She led multiple first-of-a-kind AI projects including a key FedCiv engagement for an aeronautical client. She also advanced to a senior leadership role supporting design and development of the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) System for U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP).

Ms. Smith is PMP and ILIT certified and holds a B.S. E. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
