Stephen Deitz is the President of ManTech’s Federal Civilian Sector.
In this role, Mr. Deitz leads the sector’s work to advance solutions that address federal civilian agencies’ mission needs for modernizing operations, systems, and infrastructure, as well as best-in-class security and operationalizing data.
His expertise, which has spanned over 30 years in government contracting and the commercial industry, provides a strong foundation for serving federal government agencies. He leverages his experience, insights, and forward-looking approach to innovation and efficiency to drive mission success at speed.
Mr. Deitz previously held multiple leadership roles for ManTech, serving federal clients spanning defense, intelligence, civilian, and healthcare agencies. Mr. Deitz has served as the client-facing Division Manager of ManTech’s National Security Solutions division – he deeply understands federal agency missions – and how to build and manage teams that support and enable mission success.
Before joining ManTech, Mr. Deitz spent ten years with CSC, building and managing large citizen service centers for federal clients and growing the business by more than 200%. He also implemented quality management, program management, and training programs to increase accountability and consistency across the business.
Previously, Mr. Deitz held strategy and operational positions as COO of ZAI and as a consultant to the pharmaceutical industry, overseeing operational efficiency, technology enablement, profit and loss, quality, business growth, and client delivery.
Mr. Deitz earned a Master of Science in Technology Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Shenandoah University. He holds a certificate in Executive Leadership from Cornell University, is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and is a Project Management Institute (PMI) member. He is also a FinOps Certified Practitioner.
